Life after shelter is shaped by the life skills and livelihoods activities offered by Musasa. The organisation continuously work to create opportunities for women survivors of gender based violence by economically empowering them through life skills and livelihoods trainings. The income generating projects equip survivors of GBV with skills that will be useful to sustain themselves and their families when they leave the safe shelters. The concept empowers GBV survivors to be economically independent so as to sustain families, boost self-esteem and contribute towards societal development. Activities include market gardening, Small scale livestock production, poultry and beads and garment making.
